Communications Metrics Analyst
Job Summary
Providing vital analytics support, the full-time Communications Metrics Analyst will collect and analyze performance data across various platforms to enhance the effectiveness of communications and outreach efforts while working on-site in Washington, D.C.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, track, and analyze data on events, web campaigns, and social media engagement to inform decision-making
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations summarizing key performance indicators and insights for leadership
- Collaborate with communications and digital media staff to ensure metrics inform campaign design and content development
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience developing communication strategies and products for science-focused organizations
- 8+ years of experience developing metrics for communication plans and analyzing outreach impact
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and data visualizations for executive reporting (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience translating complex subjects into plain language for diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree required
