Communications Planner

Job Summary

Managing campaign initiatives and conducting research, the full-time Special Projects Communications Planner will coordinate advertising placements to promote animal rights issues nationally and internationally in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage projects for PETA's campaigns, including conducting research and developing initiatives
• Coordinate ad design and placement, working with Marketing and Media teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns
• Monitor the effectiveness of ad campaigns and suggest improvements as needed

Required qualifications

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to quickly acquire effective project management capability
• Extensive knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and editing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
