Communications Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Communications Specialist/Speech Writer to support the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft compelling speeches for executive leadership, translating complex aviation concepts into clear language
• Inform and educate stakeholders on safety and efficiency improvements in the National Airspace
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure speeches align with organizational goals and branding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• BA degree with 8-12 years or master's with 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of flight procedures and aviation communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint
• Understanding of Section 508 Compliance requirements
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance
