Job Summary
Leading community fundraising initiatives, the full-time salaried Community Fundraising Director will oversee peer-to-peer fundraising, manage large-scale fundraising events, and cultivate donor relationships while contributing to the strategic growth of community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as team leader for community fundraising programs, mentoring staff and setting strategic visions for fundraising events
- Oversee planning and logistics for large-scale fundraising events, ensuring financial goals are met and managing cross-departmental collaboration
- Maintain donor records and engage in organizational leadership, participating in equity and inclusion initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or related fields
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in team management
- Experience in event planning and peer-to-peer fundraising
- Proven success in securing sponsorships or contributions of $10,000 or more
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar databases and project management tools
