Community Organizer for Climate Action

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Organizer & Campaigner to build a community of Jews of Color addressing the climate crisis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a robust community of Jews of Color to take action on the climate crisis through various initiatives
• Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for the caucus in collaboration with members
• Host regular virtual and potential in-person gatherings to foster community engagement and action

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build and foster a new community
• Organizing experience, including executing strategic plans and recruiting members
• Experience working with Jews of Color communities
• Ability to develop individuals into organizers and leaders through training and mentorship
• Experience navigating diverse communities around lines of difference
