Community Program Coordinator
Job Summary
Supporting the U.S. Special Operations Command's Preservation of the Force and Family program, the full-time remote Community Program and Peer Network Coordinator will manage community-based and peer-support initiatives, oversee peer-support networks, and collaborate with military and civilian partners to enhance the well-being of Special Operations Forces personnel and their families.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and improvement of community-based and peer-mentoring programs
- Organize and oversee peer-support networks, including recruiting and training peer counselors
- Collect and analyze program data to support evaluations and identify service gaps for targeted initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, human services, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in program development, peer-support services, or community outreach
- Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data and outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
