Community Support Contractor

Job Summary

To support the growing Virtual Cell Challenge, the part-time Community Support Contractor will manage participant engagement, respond to support inquiries, and foster community interaction in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Virtual Cell Challenge team to operate independently and understand competition details
• Respond to support tickets, providing timely and accurate answers regarding challenge rules and technical requirements
• Monitor community platforms for participant feedback and questions, escalating complex issues as needed

Required qualifications

• Technical background in biology and/or computer science
• Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple complex workstreams
• Strong bias for action and ability to drive results in a fast-moving environment
• Experience with community management
• Track record of high impact in a startup environment
