Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Commvault Backup Administrator will manage day-to-day backup operations, focusing on monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, and onboarding new systems into the backup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor backup jobs daily and address failures
• Troubleshoot and resolve Commvault backup issues
• Configure and onboard new clients and systems for backup

Required qualifications

• Experience with Commvault backup solutions
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to backup operations
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with data restore processes and validation
• Knowledge of backup schedules, policies, and retention settings
