Job Summary

Working remotely on a fixed schedule of Saturdays and four weekdays, the full-time Compact Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator will provide triage, support, and education to members during their cancer journey through phone, email, and video communication, while conducting clinical assessments and managing escalations under the guidance of the Nurse Team Lead.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and manage member health throughout the oncology care continuum
  • Engage actively with members to address clinical issues, coordinate care, and facilitate end-of-life discussions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and participate in case conferences to monitor member progress and optimize care delivery
Required qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required, BSN preferred
  • At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in solid tumor oncology nursing
  • Oncology-related certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire
  • Compact and single state licensure in New York and/or Illinois preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is preferred
