Compact Licensed Telehealth Nurse

Job Summary

Providing telephone triage and health advice remotely, the full-time Compact Licensed Telehealth Nurse will assist patients in making timely medical decisions, exercise clinical judgment using established protocols, and document encounters electronically.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and advice to callers to assist them in making timely medical decisions
• Exercise clinical judgment in combination with utilization of protocols to determine appropriate patient care disposition
• Promptly complete confidential medical records in accordance with company documentation standards

Required qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Nursing program
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in relevant areas such as ER/Urgent Care or ICU
• Active compact nursing license and a California license is preferred
• Previous telephone triage experience using electronic triage software is an asset
• Strong computer skills within a Windows environment
