Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HSPC Afterhours Triage Nurse to provide telephonic hospice support and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors to determine hospice needs
• Utilize EHR to develop recommendations and provide patient education based on the plan of care
• Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management and assign visits to on-call staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current, unencumbered registered nurse license in the assigned state
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
• Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
