Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Offering a part-time remote opportunity, the Compact Licensed Triage Nurse will assess hospice needs, provide telephonic support and education, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors to determine hospice needs via telephone
• Utilize electronic health records to develop recommendations and provide patient/caregiver education
• Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management and assign visits to on-call staff

Required qualifications

• Current, unencumbered registered nurse license in the assigned state
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
• Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
