Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support hospice care needs, the part-time Compact Licensed Triage Nurse will assess patients telephonically, provide recommendations based on care plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers while working remotely for 30-32 hours a week.

Key responsibilities

• Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors to determine hospice needs
• Utilize EHR to develop recommendations and provide patient/caregiver education
• Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management

Required qualifications

• Current, unencumbered registered nurse license in the assigned state
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
• Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
