Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support afterhours hospice care, the part-time hourly Compact Licensed Triage Nurse will assess patient needs telephonically, provide education and recommendations based on care plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors to determine hospice needs
• Utilize electronic health records to develop patient care recommendations
• Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management

Required qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the assigned state
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
• Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
