Compact Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Working part-time remotely, the Compact Licensed Triage Nurse will assess hospice needs, provide telephonic support and education, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Assesses physical, environmental, and emotional factors telephonically to determine hospice needs
• Utilizes electronic health records to develop recommendations based on the patient's plan of care
• Collaborates with pharmacies and other agencies to facilitate patient management and support

Required qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the assigned state
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers
• Willingness to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
