Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) Transfer Center will screen and coordinate patient admissions and transfers, utilize clinical decision-making to ensure appropriate care levels, and collaborate with various healthcare teams to facilitate timely placements.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and coordinate patient admissions and transfers from hospitals and clinics
• Monitor patient flow and track delays to improve access processes
• Serve as a liaison between facilities, patients, families, and providers to ensure efficient service

Required qualifications

• Active Compact RN License
• 3+ years of clinical experience in Behavioral Health or Critical Care with Behavioral Health patients
• High-speed internet access (minimum: 50 Mbps upload / 100 Mbps download)
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance policies
• Successful completion of an Internet Speed and Basic Computer Competency Assessments
