Job Summary

To support a vital mission in behavioral health, the full-time remote Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) Transfer Center will screen and coordinate patient admissions and transfers, utilizing clinical decision-making to ensure proper care placement while collaborating with various healthcare teams to facilitate timely services.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and coordinate patient admissions and transfers from hospitals and clinics
• Collaborate with intake teams, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure timely and appropriate placements
• Monitor patient flow and track delays to improve access processes for better outcomes

Required qualifications

• Active Compact LPN/RN License
• 3+ years of clinical experience in Behavioral Health or Emergency Department/Critical Care
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including EMTALA and quality initiatives
• High-speed internet access (minimum: 50 Mbps upload / 100 Mbps download)
• Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills
