Compensation Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the compensation accounting team, the remote Compensation Accounting Manager will ensure accurate completion of tasks, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close processes in a contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the compensation accounting team to ensure timely and accurate task completion
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to compensation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compensation-related projects and assist with internal controls and audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit procedures
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in large data sets and complex models
• Ability to communicate accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders
