Job Summary
A company in the Financial industry is seeking a Compensation Director.
Position Responsibilities:
- Consult and educate leadership and key business stakeholders on compensation philosophies and competitive compensation practices that align with the organization's objectives
- Lead compensation design and review projects, including job architecture and salary structure, as well as, additional compensation-focused initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with applicable employment-related statutory requirements regarding employee pay and current compensation-related legislation
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of compensation-related work experience, preferably within the tech industry and consulting firms
- Substantial command of compensation fundamentals (e.g., job matching and market pricing, Job Architecture, equity mechanics, cyclical programs, etc.) and proven experience in developing and implementing compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Ability to manage ambiguity and influence cross functional stakeholders effectively
- Experience in high-growth, technology sector start-up environment, is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
