Competitive Programming Expert
Job Summary
To support the development of AI coding models, a part-time Competitive Programming Expert will create algorithmic problems, write solutions in C++ and Python, and design comprehensive test cases, all while working remotely on a project-based basis.
Key responsibilities
- Write original algorithmic problem statements and intended solutions
- Develop correct and incorrect solutions in C++ and Python to evaluate AI systems
- Build and validate test cases, including edge cases and stress tests, to ensure solution quality
Required qualifications
- Strong competitive programming background demonstrated by a Codeforces rating or IOI/ICPC achievements
- Fluency in C++ (STL, complexity) and proficiency in Python
- Ability to identify and explain flaws in solutions and create inputs that expose these issues
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
- Experience in problem-setting or testing for competitive programming contests is a plus
