Compiler Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compiler Engineer to join their HPC compiler group focused on optimizing compilers for high-performance computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems at the intersection of compilers, programming models, and high-performance computing architectures
• Implement new OpenACC, OpenMP, and standard language parallelism features for C++, Fortran, and Python
• Collaborate with application teams to address compilation challenges from the HPC community

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, ECE, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience developing production-quality compilers or similar software
• Proven understanding of compiler internals and experience with auto-parallelization and GPU targets
• Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, and parallel computer architectures
• Experience with Fortran or GPU programming models is a plus
