Job Summary
Joining the Compute Compiler Team, the full-time Compiler Engineer, Infrastructure will focus on reconciling NVIDIA's compiler codebases with open-source ecosystems and improving developer productivity by designing tooling and workflows, while working remotely or onsite in various locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Reconcile and synchronize downstream compiler codebases with open-source repositories, including restructuring and upstreaming changes
- Design and build infrastructure and developer workflows to enhance productivity and maintainability for internal compiler engineers
- Develop automation tools for rebasing, patch management, and large-scale refactoring to improve developer workflows
Required qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with open-source compiler frameworks and excellent hands-on C++ programming skills
- Solid understanding of compiler internals, including IRs, passes, and build systems
- Familiarity with source-control workflows and large-scale codebase management
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with an emphasis on maintainable developer infrastructure
