Complex Claims Advisor

Job Summary

Proactively managing a complex claim inventory, the full-time Complex Claims Advisor will provide technical guidance and oversight on commercial trucking claims, ensuring optimal resolutions while fostering a culture of continual quality improvement in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically assess and manage complex commercial trucking claims issues to achieve the best possible resolutions
• Act as the subject matter expert on complex claim issues, providing oversight and direction for case resolutions
• Facilitate discussions and engage internal and external resources to enhance claim handling processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; industry designations are a plus
• Minimum eight years of casualty claims experience, including three to five years handling complex claims
• Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or ADR skills on higher value complex claims
• Subject matter expertise in Commercial Trucking bodily injury liability claims
• Ability to manage claims across multiple jurisdictions and maintain appropriate licensing
