Complex Claims Manager

Job Summary

To support the AirCover team, the full-time remote Complex Claims Manager will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and managing complex and large loss claims while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance risk mitigation strategies and improve claims handling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex and large loss claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop resolution plans and influence prioritization of claims
• Mentor and upskill team members on complex claims processes while reporting on performance metrics during business reviews

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Insurance Claims Coverage and Litigation, with a focus on liability and property
• BA/BS degree in business or a technical field preferred
• Strong knowledge of casualty and property insurance policies and claims
• Experience working with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to resolve complex disputes
• Ability to work cross-functionally and be available for on-call duties, including weekends and evenings
