Job Summary

A company is looking for a Complex Commercial Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and price complex risks in Hospitality, Habitational, Bar/Tavern, and LRO industries using underwriting guidelines
• Manage New Business and Renewal Referrals across the company's entire footprint
• Ensure agent compliance with Loss Control recommendations and communicate effectively with agents regarding documentation and information verification

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting across multiple lines of business
• Experience in a fast-paced underwriting environment, applying efficiencies to complex risks
• Understanding of the independent agent submission-to-bind process for medium-sized accounts
• Proficient in using tools for risk selection and pricing decisions
• Strong underwriting queue management skills with experience meeting defined SLAs
