Job Summary
Supporting cybersecurity advisory efforts, the full-time salaried Associate, Compliance Advisor will assist federal and commercial clients with security and compliance programs, focusing on security assessment and authorization activities, compliance gap assessments, and documentation development in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) activities by coordinating and tracking Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation
- Conduct compliance gap assessments and coordinate with technical teams to validate security controls
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, governance, or security assessment within federal or regulated environments
- Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience developing and maintaining security documentation such as SSPs and compliance artifacts
- Proficiency with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools like Nessus or Tenable
