Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure effective risk mitigation within Global Sanctions, the full-time Compliance Analyst will independently test controls, collaborate with business units, and support risk assessment activities while working onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Independently test controls owned by Global Sanctions and act as a liaison to verify risk mitigation strength
• Collaborate with business unit Control Management teams to ensure first-line controls effectively mitigate Sanctions Risk
• Develop and oversee reporting to ensure model requirements meet defined thresholds consistently

Required qualifications

• Significant understanding of US and International Sanctions regulations and requirements
• 2+ years of Financial Crimes (Sanctions) experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification preferred (Law Degree, Compliance/AML Diploma, CAMS Certification)
• Experience in Risk, Control, Self-Assessment (RCSA) or Risk Assessment preferred
• Ability to work independently in a complex matrix environment
