Job Summary
To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the full-time salaried Compliance Analyst will assist with OFAC/Sanctions activities, manage escalations, and conduct investigations in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for enterprise-wide sanctions matches and track escalations to ensure SLA thresholds are met
- Analyze screening alerts and conduct investigations for sanctions oversight processes, including account closures and reporting to OFAC
- Provide subject matter expertise on sanctions and compliance issues, making recommendations for corrective actions to improve controls and operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in sanctions compliance, AML, financial crimes, or investigations within a financial institution or regulated environment
- Basic understanding of U.S. sanctions regulations (OFAC) and global sanctions frameworks
- Experience conducting investigations and making risk-based decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
