Job Summary
To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the full-time Compliance Analyst will assist with OFAC/Sanctions activities, serving as the primary escalation point for sanctions matches and conducting investigations within a financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Track and analyze escalations related to sanctions matches, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
- Conduct investigations and make risk-based decisions on screening alerts and potential sanctions breaches
- Compile and maintain internal watchlist entries and prepare OFAC block and reject reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in sanctions compliance, AML, financial crimes, or investigations within a regulated environment
- Basic understanding of U.S. sanctions regulations (OFAC) and global sanctions frameworks
- Experience conducting investigations and analyzing complex information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
