Compliance and Risk Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned Compliance and Risk Officer, the remote position will oversee the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide compliance and AML program, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while collaborating with various teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the designated compliance officer, managing BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement controls to mitigate emerging risks
• Build and mentor a high-performing compliance team while driving compliance training across the organization

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on BSA/AML
• Deep understanding of compliance requirements in highly regulated industries
• Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in high-risk businesses
• Proven track record in fintech, payments, or tech-forward companies managing regulatory requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience
