Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal guidance and support on compliance-related products and services, the fully remote Compliance Counsel will manage the handbook service, create training content, and prepare webinars on legal topics relevant to clients and the HR community.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage Traliant's handbook service, creating and updating employee handbooks
• Draft and review training content, including scripts for online courses and micro trainings
• Serve as the subject matter expert on legal compliance topics, providing guidance to clients and preparing educational materials for internal teams

Required Qualifications

• JD or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 4+ years of practice experience in employment law or a relevant area of law
• Broad knowledge of federal and state EEO and wage-and-hour laws
• Experience drafting and reviewing compliant human resources policies
