Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare technology environment, the full-time Compliance Counsel will oversee regulatory and compliance matters, providing guidance on health information governance, AI-related legislation, and healthcare compliance laws while collaborating with various teams to enhance organizational practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Counsel the business on laws and regulations impacting clinical services, including privacy, security, and fraud prevention
• Monitor and advise on AI-related legislation and serve as a key member of the AI governance team
• Develop internal governance frameworks and educate stakeholders on compliance programming and risk management principles

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of regulatory legal experience in healthcare or technology sectors, or at a mid to large-sized law firm
• J.D. from a well-recognized law school with excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to a U.S. state bar in good standing
• Project management experience coordinating across cross-functional groups
• Experience drafting policies related to healthcare regulations
