Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve global compliance programs across various regulatory areas
• Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on compliance risks for business activities
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and audits, translating findings into actionable plans

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles, with a preference for tech industry experience
• Experience with compliance technology tools and automated screening systems
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Collaborative working style with integrity and strategic thinking abilities
