Compliance Director

Job Summary

To support compliance initiatives, the full-time salaried Compliance Director will design, implement, and maintain compliance risk management strategies while overseeing governance and internal controls in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and implements governance structures and internal control frameworks for the compliance program
• Develops strategies to ensure effective performance of compliance services across the organization
• Manages a team, providing direction and oversight to ensure compliance objectives are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in banking, financial services, risk management, or compliance
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• CRCM or relevant certification required within 12 months of hire
• Experience in implementing operational or compliance controls in a regulated industry preferred
