Compliance Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a remote full-time capacity, the Compliance Director will oversee Compliance Operations, Testing, and Quality Assurance functions while ensuring effective execution of the Compliance Management System through regulatory monitoring and branch audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide oversight of Compliance Operations and Testing programs, managing workflows and performance metrics
• Evaluate testing methodologies and improve compliance operations metrics to assess effectiveness and service levels
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for testing activities and coordinate compliance reporting packages

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience within a financial institution, preferably in a large or complex organization
• 5+ years of experience in risk management or consumer compliance related to mortgage originations
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations
• Experience with ACES, Encompass, and Jira preferred
