Compliance Director
Job Summary
Overseeing compliance efforts across the organization, the full-time Director of Compliance will manage regulatory adherence, develop internal standards, and serve as a resource for compliance-related matters while working in a hybrid or fully remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to regulations set by state Departments of Insurance and other agencies
- Identify corporate compliance needs and develop internal standards and procedures
- Serve as a compliance resource for employees and management, advising on regulatory matters
Required Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in a compliance-related function within the insurance industry
- Juris Doctor degree and an active law license are a plus
- In-depth experience building and managing a compliance function
- Knowledge of regulatory best practices applicable to national operations
- Strong research and analytical skills with proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders
