Compliance Director

Job Summary

Overseeing compliance efforts across the organization, the fully remote Director of Compliance will manage regulatory adherence, maintain relationships with carrier partners, and enhance compliance processes while partnering with the executive team and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulations set by state Departments of Insurance and other agencies
• Deliver consultative services by identifying corporate compliance needs and making recommendations for internal standards
• Serve as a compliance resource for employees and management, advising on regulatory matters and overseeing compliance programs

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in a compliance-related function within the insurance industry
• Juris Doctor degree and an active law license in good standing are a plus
• In-depth experience building and managing a compliance function
• Knowledge of regulatory best practices applicable to national insurance producers
• Strong research, analytical, and relationship-building skills
