Compliance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Engineer to lead product safety, certification, and testing for residential solar mounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage UL compliance and support NRTL submissions for product safety and certification
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Product teams to ensure designs are safe and compliant
• Track regulatory updates and maintain compliance documentation for audits and testing

Required Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in hardware compliance or product safety engineering
• Knowledge of UL 2703, UL 3741, IEC 61215/61730, and related PV standards
• Experience with NRTL submissions, including test plans and corrective actions
• Strong understanding of U.S. building codes and structural load paths for rooftop PV systems
• Passion for renewable energy and innovative hardware solutions
