Compliance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Forward Deployed Engineer, Compliance will identify automation opportunities within regulatory workflows, prototype solutions using existing AI platforms, and drive the adoption of compliance tooling across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with Compliance leadership to surface automation opportunities and develop an understanding of workflows like transaction monitoring and sanctions screening
• Own the Compliance automation roadmap, translating complex regulatory workflows into engineering requirements for stakeholders
• Drive tool adoption through presentations and feedback loops to ensure effective usage by Compliance teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven ability to ship production systems
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications and designing for high-stakes compliance outputs
• Proven ability to translate complex workflows into engineering requirements by collaborating with non-technical experts
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory systems concepts, including transaction monitoring and audit-ready data handling
• Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineering or embedded technical advisory capacity within compliance-tech or financial services
