Job Summary

Conducting consumer compliance reviews and regulatory testing, the full-time remote Compliance Examiner will evaluate business processes for adherence to consumer finance regulations, identify compliance risks, and support remediation efforts while collaborating with business partners and providing updates to management.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute assigned testing activities in accordance with federal and state consumer finance regulations
  • Prepare well-documented workpapers outlining testing procedures and results
  • Identify compliance risks and communicate findings to the review lead
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in financial services, compliance, or related regulatory functions, with at least 3 years in compliance testing or auditing
  • Working knowledge of consumer retail finance regulations such as TILA, ECOA, and FCRA
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulations and apply them to business processes
