Compliance Lead FCRA and FDCPA

Job Summary

To support compliance initiatives, the full-time remote Compliance Lead will oversee adherence to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), manage compliance-related issues, and advise various teams on regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regulatory compliance advisory to ensure alignment with the latest servicing, collections, and repayments regulations
• Identify and manage compliance-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver training programs on relevant compliance regulations to enhance organizational awareness and understanding

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in compliance is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in compliance and issues management, specifically related to servicing operations compliance
• In-depth knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, and other servicing regulations and best practices
• Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate complex compliance issues
• Proven analytical skills with the capacity to assess compliance issues and develop effective solutions
