Job Summary
To support compliance operations, the full-time remote Compliance Manager will manage day-to-day compliance activities, oversee regulatory affairs functions, and ensure adherence to state insurance regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage compliance operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and operational standards
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate compliance expectations and risks
- Analyze operational and regulatory issues to identify root causes and implement compliant solutions while mentoring team members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field, or 8-10+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 4+ years of leadership experience within compliance or regulatory affairs
- Extensive knowledge of state insurance regulations and operational compliance expectations
- Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory affairs functions and complaint handling operations
- Professional designations such as CPCU, AINS, or other compliance-related certifications are preferred
