Job Summary
Overseeing regulatory adherence in a work-at-home capacity, the full-time Compliance Manager will manage filings, conduct audits, and enhance compliance processes to ensure the organization meets legal and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the administrator for the company's code of conduct hotline, ensuring concerns are reported and investigated
- Coordinate and submit all state regulatory filings, including annual and corporate governance disclosures
- Lead the compliance committee, maintaining the compliance calendar and ensuring regular updates on compliance initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- 7+ years of professional experience in insurance operations and compliance or risk management
- 3+ years researching state insurance laws and facilitating state filings
- Experience managing regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations in various state and federal jurisdictions
