Compliance Manager (New York)

Job Summary

Serving as a subject matter expert in consumer financial compliance, the full-time Compliance Manager (New York) will oversee compliance for banking and lending products, manage issue resolution and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop junior compliance team members in product compliance and related activities
• Act as the primary compliance liaison among department heads, senior management, and partner-bank stakeholders
• Drive the execution of remediation and testing plans for compliance issues and audit findings

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of experience in regulated financial services, fintech, banking, lending, or credit card compliance
• Thorough understanding of consumer financial protection laws and regulations
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proven ability to assess compliance risks in a fast-paced environment
