Compliance Officer

Job Summary

As a full-time salaried Compliance Officer working remotely, the successful candidate will manage compliance projects, serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, and enhance the effectiveness of the enterprise compliance program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead compliance projects with full accountability for outcomes and deliver clear summaries and guidance on complex documents
• Conduct risk assessments, recommend practical controls, and draft, review, and quality check compliance documentation
• Mentor junior colleagues, develop reporting tools, and manage cyclical review processes while ensuring effective communication across teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; certifications are a plus
• 5-6 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk, legal, or regulated environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex regulatory material
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance or workflow tools
• Experience in financial services, mortgage servicing, or regulated industries preferred
