Compliance Program Director

Job Summary

To build and lead a comprehensive compliance program in a fast-paced, crypto-native environment, the full-time Head of Compliance will evaluate existing frameworks, develop Standard Operating Procedures, and collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure compliance across new business initiatives while managing daily compliance operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and scale the existing compliance program, identifying gaps and enhancing it based on new geographic risks
• Write actionable Standard Operating Procedures to ensure policies are effectively translated into daily practices
• Partner with Product and Operations to establish compliance requirements for new business initiatives prior to launch

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience building or maturing a compliance program in crypto, fintech, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, and KYB frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems and conducting investigations, including filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• Ability to write clear and effective SOPs that translate policy into practice
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Risk, Product, Ops, and Sales teams
