Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to mortgage regulations and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement compliance with HMDA, ECOA, and other mortgage regulations
• Communicate loan application outcomes to consumers and issue required notices
• Track loan data for compliance and assist with vendor management oversight

Required Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; BS degree preferred
• One year of residential mortgage experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines
• Broad understanding of mortgage loan products and applicable regulations
• Knowledge of Encompass Database software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to business processes
