Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as a key contact for U.S. Government funded restricted revenue, the full-time hybrid Compliance Specialist will manage federal compliance, grants financial management, and subrecipient monitoring for assigned program portfolios while collaborating with various internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor subrecipients' compliance and conduct screenings for all federal grants, including risk assessments and invoice approvals
• Manage and track assigned U.S. Government grants, ensuring financial compliance and overseeing budgeting processes
• Produce and submit accurate financial reports for U.S. Government-funded projects, adhering to federal regulations and deadlines

Required qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years of experience in financial management of U.S. Government funded grants and subrecipient monitoring
• Demonstrated experience working with federal grants and knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
• Proficiency in financial software, with experience in Infor CloudSuite Financials preferred
• Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals
