Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the resolution of complex compliance issues, the full-time remote Compliance Specialist will manage subscription bookings, negotiate optimal terms with clients, and provide strategic advice on licensing models while supporting the North America Public Sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third-party partners and serve as the primary escalation point for compliance findings
• Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable subscription terms and identify new business opportunities
• Monitor subscription usage to ensure compliance with licensing terms and provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OpenSource/SaaS/software sales, program management, or software license compliance
• Combined background in direct selling of services and familiarity with renewals and consumption-based business models
• Ability to articulate and understand contract language and manage subscription adherence
• Experience creating and interpreting detailed compliance and entitlement reports
• Proficiency in English, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
