Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end support of the regulatory change management process, the full-time remote Compliance Specialist will monitor regulatory changes, analyze laws, communicate updates within the organization, and support compliance investigations while tracking implementation evidence.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintains knowledge of relevant regulations and trains stakeholders to mitigate compliance risks
- Ensures regulatory standards are applied to organizational policies and conducts risk assessments on operational areas
- Facilitates compliance training and manages timelines and deliverables for internal responses
Required qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in internal audit, legal, compliance, or insurance government programs
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to respond to internal inquiries and work within set deadlines
- Experience in communicating with state insurance departments and regulatory agencies
- Detail-oriented with the ability to incorporate feedback into work products
